How We Work

At BAB Cleaning, we:

  • Customize cleaning to your specifications

  • Offer basic cleaning as well as specialty/deep cleaning options

  • Are thorough, efficient and detail-oriented

  • Treat valuable items with care

  • Treat your home or business with the respect it deserves

  • Provide all of our own basic equipment: vacuum, brooms, mops, rags, dusters, various brushes and step stool

  • Use eco-friendly cleaning products

  • Use a high quality SEBO vacuum with hospital grade filtration

  • Offer an interactive room-by-room checklist to let us know precisely what you’d like, which we will translate for ourselves.

  • Will do a walk-through orientation with you on the day we start the job to be sure we understand the requests noted on the checklist.

For new clients, we typically start as a two-person team, though for some on-going jobs, we may transition to solo, depending on the size and nature of the work.

We are happy to clean homes and apartments with pets, though we ask that you alert us in advance if your pet might be aggressive. Because Badria is unable to be around cats or dogs, let us know whether you can confine them while we clean. If this does not work for you and your pet, we understand, and Bassam will then clean your house or apartment solo.

Rates

Our new business promotional rate is $30/hour per team member. We work quickly and efficiently, with as much detail as you request. Clients can pay by check, cash, or we can arrange electronic payment.

Cancellation: $25 fee if client cancels within 24 hours of a scheduled cleaning, except in special circumstances, such as illness or injury.

To Initiate Service

Please text or email us with your date & time preferences and we will respond with our general availability. Please complete the checklist about your cleaning preferences. This will allow us to estimate the length of your job and arrive with a good understanding of your needs. Once we receive the checklist, we will make final confirmation of the date and time we will arrive, and we will allow some time for initial orientation on our first visit.

For Follow-up Visits

You are welcome to write that you would like the same cleaning tasks done when we schedule your next appointment. If you would like to modify the job on any subsequent visit, please let us know that and complete a new checklist.

Requests of Our Clients

We ask that dishes have been washed and put away when we arrive, to facilitate cleaning of the kitchen.  

Generally, less clutter on surfaces will allow us to clean more efficiently.

Please let us know if someone in your home is immunocompromised and you would prefer we wear masks as we clean. Please tell us if someone in your home is sick so we can mask while we clean.

Cleaning Products with an Ecological, Non-Toxic Focus

Our standard cleaning supplies include:

  • Envirox Sanitizers & Disinfectants

  • Ecos Pro Floor Cleaner & Toilet Bowl Cleaner

  • Bon Ami Kitchen and Bath Cleanser

  • Vinegar for all purpose cleaner.

  • Glass cleaner we mix ourselves with vinegar and eco dish soap

  • Oven cleaner we make ourselves with eco dish soap and Bar Keepers Friend

  • Silver cleaner we make ourselves using baking soda and vinegar

  • A high quality SEBO vacuum with hospital grade filtration

For very tough oven stains, metal or other tough cleaning situations, we may occasionally need to use non-eco cleaning supplies.

We will also use cleaning products owners supply for specialty use.
